[Marxistindia] Fidel Castro -- condolence meeting

Fidel Castro Ruz, the historic leader of Cuban Revolution had passed away on
the 25th November 2016. He led the revolutionary government in Cuba, as a
prime minister till 1976 and since then, till 2008 as the President. He was
the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba till 2011. Fidel, as he
is popularly known, played an important role in the construction of
socialism in Cuba and in strengthening the bonds between the third world
countries in the struggle against imperialism. 

He was a great internationalist.

 

To pay tribute to his memory a condolence meeting is being organised on the
7th December 2016 at 5.00 PM in the Speakers Hall, Constitution Club Annexe,
Rafi Marg, New Delhi. We would like you to join us in paying homage to the
revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro.
